Implementing a pilot project on climate adaptation for companies in Munich

Realized in Germany

Climate risks affect companies in many ways, potentially leading to profit losses and reduced employee well-being. The city of Munich aims to support companies in becoming more climate-resilient by implementing a pilot project on corporate climate adaptation. Rebel has been mandated to conceptualize the pilot project and implement it together with a selected company from Munich.

The challenge

The aim of the project was to create a procedure that is transferable to other companies. In order to create transferable results, Rebel worked with a company that is representative of numerous companies in Munich: it is located in Munich, has its own production site, and has been affected by different climate risks.

The aim of the project was to create a procedure that is transferable to other companies. In order to create transferable results, Rebel worked with a company that is representative of numerous companies in Munich:

it is located in Munich, has its own production site, and has been affected by different climate risks.

Impact

Supporting companies to increase their climate resilience and thus their future viability.

The experience of a Rebel

Transferable impact

"At Rebel we enjoy piloting projects because it means that we get to create an impact that is transferable and will be multiplied every time someone– in that case companies in Munich – decides to profit from the results that we developed."
