For several years, Rebel has supported Commercial Law Development Program’s efforts in Asia, building capacity on infrastructure project development and delivery, PPP and project finance. Rebel and CLDP now extent that collaboration across Africa, with several training programs in Kenya to start with.
The challenge
Facing serious fiscal constraints, the government of Kenya prioritizes private sector investment and PPPs to drive economic growth by delivering essential infrastructure. Public officials will need to build up expertise in initiating, preparing, procuring, and implementing projects and PPPs in order to be successful in delivering that essential infrastructure.
The approach
Rebel leverages its financial and transaction advisory expertise and on-the-ground experience to craft robust, hands-on training programs. These initiatives incorporate immersive action learning methods like role plays and simulation games, empowering officials with practical skills for effective infrastructure project and PPP implementation.
After delivering several training programs in Kenya it is clear that there is great demand for more CLDP programs in Kenya and across Africa.
