At Rebel, we believe it is important to handle personal data provided via our website with care. This additional privacy statement applies specifically to the online form that you can use to apply for a job or request an introductory meeting and, if necessary, upload your CV.
We respect your privacy and treat your data confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR).
The personal data you provide via this form will only be used for the following purposes:
1. Processing your request for an introductory meeting or a (potential) job application;
2. Assessing your suitability for future collaboration;
3. Contacting you in response to your request or CV;
4. Sharing your data internally within Rebel [Rebel ventures] in preparation for a possible further application procedure.
Please note: at this stage, this is not yet a formal application. Only when your CV is shared internally with one of our ventures and that venture decides to contact you will the [general privacy statement] come into effect. From that moment on, the GDPR rules of the venture in question will apply, as laid down in its own processing register.
We only process the data you provide yourself via the form, such as:
– Name and contact details (e-mail address and/or telephone number);
– Any additional information you enter in the form yourself;
– Your CV (without photo), if applicable.
We request that you do not include a passport photo or other irrelevant personal data (such as your national insurance number, information about your health, religious beliefs or family situation). This information is not necessary for the initial assessment of your application.
The personal data you provide via the form is only accessible to a limited working group within Rebel. This working group manages the online applications, assesses the initial CVs and determines whether your data can be shared with one of the affiliated ventures. The members of this working group are bound by a duty of confidentiality and have been carefully instructed on how to handle personal data.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). By submitting the form, you consent to the processing of your data as described above.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. From that moment on, we will stop processing your data.
Your data will only be shared with Rebel employees involved in processing your application. Only when one of our affiliated ventures shows interest in your profile will your data be forwarded to that venture. At that point, further processing will be the responsibility of that venture and the privacy rules of that organisation will apply. Privacy statement
We do not retain your data for longer than is necessary to assess and follow up on your request. Your data will be deleted no later than three months after receipt, unless you give your consent for it to be retained for longer with a view to future opportunities.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against misuse, loss or unauthorised access. Your data is sent encrypted and stored in secure systems within the European Union.
You have the right to:
– Request access to the personal data we process about you;
– Have incorrect data corrected or deleted;

We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement. The most recent version can always be found on our website.
