Our living environment has an enormous impact on us. I like to think about how that influence changes user behavior, and about how we can steer that behavior in a positive direction. This requires a holistic approach, from the design phase to the operational phase – an approach that never overlooks the people whose everyday lives take place in the environments we deal with. Every building or area we work on is an opportunity to create social impact.
In my pragmatic and goal-oriented approach, I always choose to put the users’ point of view front and center.
In my spare time, I also work at Intermijn: an organization that helps young people in their personal development so they can make important choices for their future, setting them on the right path when it comes to their education, for instance.
