The Challenge
The Maryland Department of Transportation recently established a dedicated Office of Real Estate and Economic Development (ORED) to spearhead transit-oriented development across the state. ORED shapes the state’s TOD policy and supports local jurisdictions in identifying, planning, and implementing TOD projects.
The approach
Rebel is supporting MDOT ORED across its portfolio of activities. We are partnering with MDOT to identify additional avenues and policy levers to support local jurisdictions, structure procurements for upcoming projects, and negotiate contractual terms for projects already underway.
