I enjoy working on projects where social and economic values are on an equal footing. I am eager to learn and possess strong expertise, without losing sight of the fact that ultimately, people need to work together to achieve success.
My background in data, experience in identifying and quantifying the value of nature, and financial-economic knowledge form the foundation of my advisory work. I use these skills to find business models for private clients and assist governments in achieving their nature objectives.
This is reflected in various projects. I continuously work with developers, investors, and municipalities to bring greening projects to fruition. I have collaborated with several developers on an approach for nature-inclusive development. Practical insights are translated to the system level. I contributed to the National Implementation Program for Climate Adaptation and the Investment Agenda for Nature Inclusiveness. These documents outline what is needed to transition to a climate-adaptive and nature-inclusive society. Furthermore, I have calculated the benefits of greening and making the entire Dutch urban area climate-adaptive.
