Junior Consultant Ports & Logistics

In this role, you will provide strategic advice to public and private clients. This includes conducting market studies, commercial due diligence for port-related transactions, and technical and economic feasibility studies. You will also actively contribute to the decarbonization of the shipping sector.

You will spend about half of your time working for clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, and the other half on international projects. You will advise not only port authorities but also key stakeholders within the ports, such as terminal operators, shippers, investors, and financiers (including infrastructure funds and international financial institutions).

In addition to working with your own team, you’ll collaborate closely with other Rebel teams. By combining our financial-strategic expertise, experience with infrastructure projects, and our rebellious way of working, we create added value together. This position is based in our Rotterdam office, and we also work flexibly with our colleagues in Antwerp.

You are:

• A graduate with a master’s degree in a technical, economic, business-related or similar field.
• Interested in ports, shipping, and logistics, both nationally and internationally.
• Driven and curious.
• Able and motivated to independently carry out complex (quantitative) economic studies.
• Eager to further develop your skills in data processing and programming.
• Someone with 0 to 2 years of work experience; relevant experience in the field of transport economics is a plus.
• Proficient in professional English. Do you also speak German, French, or another language? That’s a bonus.
