In brief
Having a background in business administration and natural resource management, I work on projects related to environmental economics and policy. This ranges from developing local biodiversity policies to strategies for mobilizing (international) finance for nature. I have a strong passion for underwater ecosystems and enjoy working on projects related to nature-based solutions for climate adaptation.
Where possible, I prefer to take a bottom-up and stakeholder-inclusive approach in projects. I thrive working in teams and enjoy solving complex problems. I have a systemic and analytical mindset, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to maintain an overview even in stressful situations.
I am intrinsically motivated to change our relationship with nature from “ego” to “eco,” where indigenous knowledge is my biggest source of inspiration.
Outside of Rebel, I make an impact through volunteering in coral reef restoration projects, sourcing regeneratively produced food, and thrift shopping. In my free time, you will find me outdoors, playing volleyball, or prepping a lovely dinner with a matching wine.
