In short

I work in the sustainability market, mainly on projects that connect ecology and economics. At Rebel Flora & Fauna, I help make the value of nature visible and develop business cases that support a nature-inclusive economy. My work focuses on using economic modelling, data analysis, and policy insights to guide both public and private organisations toward decisions that strengthen environmental as well as financial outcomes.

With a background in Economics & Business Economics (Utrecht University) and a master’s degree in Environmental Economics (VU Amsterdam), I specialize in bridging ecological and economic perspectives. I enjoy translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

In previous research, I focused on quantifying the benefits of nature, for example, by analysing the impact of landscape restoration on housing prices.

What challenges and motivates me most are projects where analytical depth meets societal relevance, where I can contribute to solutions that work in both theory and practice. I am driven by the ambition to help build a greener, more nature-inclusive world, one where ecological value is embedded in economic decision-making.
